Located in the eastern CBD of Longgang, Shenzhen, the Shimao Shenzhen-Hong Kong International Center is planned to have super high-rise office, commercial complex, high-end apartments, top luxury hotels, cultural exhibitions and other formats. It will help Shenzhen absorb high-end industrial resources from Hong Kong, such as scientific and technological research and development, headquarters economy, modern service industry, and promote in-depth cooperation between Shenzhen and Hong Kong to build the eastern core of Dawan District, with its main tower or center. It will become a Chinese landmark building, aiming at creating a brand new landmark of Shenzhen skyline.
建筑设计以“传统国韵的当代演绎”为主旨，体现“螺旋卷轴”+“立体园林”的核心概念：盘旋上升的建筑形体辅以LED透明屏幕，构成朦胧的宣纸画布，演绎山水长卷；不同层次与朝向的体量悬挑，形成多维度立体花园，呼应四面八方的景致。二者结合，力求打造具有丰富文化底蕴的展示艺廊。
Architectural design takes "the contemporary deduction of traditional national rhyme" as its main theme, and embodies the core concept of "spiral scroll"+ "three-dimensional garden": the spiral and ascending architectural form is supplemented by a transparent LED screen, forming a hazy cardboard canvas to deduce the long roll of mountains and rivers; the volume of different levels and orientations is overhanging, forming a multi-dimensional three-dimensional garden, echoing the landscape in all directions. The combination of the two aims to create a gallery with rich cultural connotations.
艺廊漂浮于水镜之上，浮光掠影，相映成趣，富有张力的形体逐层悬挑，变幻朝向，与周边场域交相辉映。“螺旋卷轴”顺势环绕，盘旋上升，在不同时段的光影变幻下营造出朦胧、静谧，或恢宏、磅礴的建筑氛围。核心展览空间“水晶展厅”嵌入其中，温润剔透，彰显着公共开放的艺术调性。
The Gallery floats above the water mirror, glittering and reflecting interestingly. The tense form is cantilevered layer by layer, changing direction and reflecting with the surrounding fields. "Spiral scroll" surrounds and spirals upward, creating a hazy, quiet, or grand and magnificent architectural atmosphere under the varying light and shadow in different periods. The core exhibition space "Crystal Exhibition Hall" is embedded in it, which is gentle and clear, showing the public open artistic tone.
“螺旋卷轴”采用双层幕墙体系，内层性能幕墙紧随功能布局，外层形态幕墙结合悬挑形体盘旋上升，中间空腔内置“LED透明屏”多媒体系统。白天，阳光下的点釉玻璃呈现宣纸般朦胧雅致的纯净气质，平和而典雅；黄昏，夕阳的余晖洒落在画卷之上，建筑与天色共璀璨；夜幕降临，气势磅礴的动态山水长卷旋绕建筑周圈，恢弘而激荡；夜深人静之际，温和的泛光模式使建筑归隐自然，静谧祥和。
The spiral scroll adopts double-layer curtain wall system. The inner performance curtain wall follows the functional layout closely. The outer shape curtain wall combines with the cantilever body to spiral upward. The middle cavity has built-in "LED transparent screen" multimedia system. In the daytime, glazed glass in the sunshine presents the hazy and elegant pure temperament of Xuan Paper, which is peaceful and elegant; at dusk, the afterglow of sunset falls on the picture scroll, and the architecture and sky are bright; at night, the dynamic landscape with great momentum revolves around the building, magnificent and exciting; at night, when people are quiet, the gentle flooding mode makes the building quiet and natural.
双层幕墙外侧为50%覆盖率的超白点釉玻璃装饰幕墙，内侧为中灰色玻璃性能幕墙，双层幕墙之间留出70厘米宽连续空腔，内部安装P25分辨率的LED透明屏，不影响室内视线的同时，可清晰演绎多媒体画面。

双层幕墙之间采用点支式连接构件，外侧点釉玻璃采用透明胶缝，将装饰幕墙对画面的影响降低到最小。为满足屏体运行散热需求，幕墙底端为穿孔铝板，顶部加双层防雨百叶，满足防水的同时也能做到自然通风。
Two-layer curtain walls are connected by point-supported components, and the outer point glazed glass is jointed by transparent glue, which minimizes the influence of decorative curtain walls on the picture. In order to meet the heat dissipation requirement of the screen, perforated aluminium plate is used at the bottom of the curtain wall and double-deck rain-proof louvers are added at the top to meet the requirements of waterproof and natural ventilation.
